alestetics® is a skin quality clinic right by Zurich main station, founded in 2021 by Alexandra Stroganova. We are a small team, we know our clients by name, and we are currently evolving step by step into a medical clinic.
We were inspired by Korean clinics: there, instead of a standard solution for everyone, there is a dedicated approach for every skin type and every concern. We work in the exact same way — with a range of treatments and devices that is rare in Switzerland, and with a consultation that takes longer than elsewhere.
Quality, communication and service are our top priorities. For our reception, we are looking for the person who makes this tangible every single day.
Saturday is our most important day — that's when customers come who don't have time during the week. In return, your week starts on Tuesday, while everyone else is stuck in Monday's traffic.
What you’ll be doing with us
- To be a hostess. You welcome our clients in such a way that they feel well looked after from the very first moment: greeting, espresso or tea, escorting them to the treatment room. You support the specialist team and keep their backs free.
- Consult and finalise. At check-out, you explain prices, treatment packages and current promotions with confidence and transparency. You recommend suitable skincare and the sensible next appointment — because you understand what the person needs.
- Coordinate and plan. You plan the entire team's schedules so that there is no downtime and rooms are utilised to their maximum potential. You think ahead: who needs how much time, and what fits into which window.
- Communicate across all channels. Phone calls, emails, WhatsApp Business and social media messages all come together through you. You respond quickly, politely and reliably — and turn enquiries into confirmed appointments.
- Hold the space. You have an eye for ensuring the clinic always looks the way our clientele expects: tidy, clean, prepared. For us, that is not a minor detail — it is part of the treatment.
- Capturing moments. Our daily life is full of pictures that nobody sees. You have a feel for light, image and timing, and you understand what works on Instagram and TikTok. There is room for your creativity with us — but it isn't the core of the role.
- Document neatly. Consent forms, medical history questionnaires and documentation in accordance with the revFADP — complete and traceable.
What you won’t be doing here
- No cold calling — the clients come to us.
- No pressure to buy. If you don’t need treatment, you won’t receive any.
- No Sunday or night shifts.
- No large-scale call centre and no anonymous departments. We are a team that sees each other every day.
What you will learn with us
You get access to knowledge that would otherwise cost a lot of money to buy. We share our experience with you: skin biology, active ingredients, treatment logic and the technologies we work with.
We are the first clinic in Switzerland to feature Volnewmer®. In addition, we offer the Stellar M22™ by Lumenis (IPL and laser), Vivace® RF microneedling, SkinPen®, Ultraformer MPT and the AURA 3D skin analysis as a diagnostic foundation.
The better you understand what happens in our treatment rooms, the better your advice at reception. That is why we invest in your training — and why a genuine interest in aesthetic medicine is more important to us than any certificate.
Who you are
- Communicator. You don't leave a day full of people feeling tired, but satisfied. You listen more than you talk, and quickly understand what someone is really about. Empathy, kindness and good manners aren't learned behaviours for you, but second nature.
- Interested in aesthetic treatments. You are fascinated by skin, efficacy and technology. Prior knowledge is welcome, curiosity is more important.
- Training or talent. Training as a Medical Practice Assistant (MPA) is a major advantage. Also welcome: experience from upscale hospitality, premium retail or practice management — and career changers with talent.
- Fluent in German and English fluent in both spoken and written communication, switching effortlessly between them. Additional languages such as French, Italian, Spanish or Russian are a real bonus for our international clientele.
- Aesthetic sense. You are confident on Instagram and TikTok and recognise what looks good — both in the room and in pictures.
- Digital on the move. You enjoy working with modern tools and naturally use AI wherever it saves you time.
- Passion for consulting. You like selling — but you never persuade. The difference matters to you.
- Nerves and structure. Phone ringing, WhatsApp flashing, a guest standing in front of you: you prioritise instead of rushing.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an MPA qualification for the job?
No, it is an advantage, but not a requirement. Equally welcome are female applicants with experience in upscale hotel management, premium retail, or practice management, as well as career changers with a talent for people and organisation.
Is a career change into an aesthetic clinic in Zurich possible?
Yes. At alestetics®, you learn the treatments and technologies in-house. Strong communication skills, organisational ability and a genuine interest in aesthetic medicine are crucial.
Do I also get to know the treatments at alestetics®?
Yes. We share our knowledge of skin analysis, active ingredient science and device technology. The better you understand what happens in the treatment rooms, the better you will advise at reception.
What is the wage?
The remuneration consists of a fixed salary plus a performance-related bonus. The exact amount will be discussed in a personal interview, depending on experience and working hours.
How many weeks of holiday are there?
Five weeks' holiday a year — standard with us and not a matter for negotiation.
Is it possible to work part-time in this role?
Yes, the workload is between 80 and 100% and is determined by mutual agreement.
What languages are required?
Fluent in German and written and spoken English. French, Italian, Spanish or Russian are a bonus for our international clientele.
Do I have to work on Saturday?
Yes, Saturday is a fixed working day — it’s our most important day of the week. On a 100% rota, you work from Tuesday to Saturday, with Monday off. We don’t have Sunday or night shifts.
How are the working days arranged?
The working days are fixed and can be planned in advance: for the 100% rota, Tuesday to Saturday with Monday off. For the 80% rota, the additional day off is agreed upon jointly; Saturday remains a working day in all cases.
