What CLATUU Alpha is.
CLATUU Alpha is a cryolipolysis device manufactured by the Korean company Classys — the same manufacturer as Volnewmer®. It cools a targeted fold of fat, which is drawn in by suction, to a controlled temperature of around −9 °C.
Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than the surrounding tissue. Controlled cooling triggers a response in them Apoptosis — a natural process of cell death. Over the following weeks, the body breaks down these cells via the lymphatic system. Once it's gone, it's gone: The cells are not regenerated. Per session, this usually amounts to around 20–22 % of fat in the treated area. The Surround 360° Cooling system evenly envelops the area; a dedicated chin applicator is available for the double chin.
We never use CLATUU on its own. After the cold treatment, we stimulate the lymphatic system using Icoone® or Endospheres® to help break down and remove dead fat cells more quickly — and, if skin tightening is required, we schedule this as a separate step.

This is how your treatment will proceed.
Mark the area, check for skin folds.
During the free consultation, we will identify the treatment area and check whether there is sufficient skin tissue for the applicator. AURA 3D can be used on request.
Suction, cooling, brief massage.
The applicator gently suctions the fold of skin, then cools it down in a controlled manner. For the first few minutes, you’ll feel a cool, tugging sensation, after which the area goes numb — many people read or relax during this time. Finally, the area is given a brief massage.
No downtime, dismantling over several weeks.
You’ll be able to get back to your normal routine straight away. You may experience redness, swelling or numbness in the treated area for a few days. The fat will be broken down over two to three months — visible results from three to four weeks, with optimal results after two to three months.
Questions about CLATUU Alpha.
The questions we’re asked most often before the first session — answered honestly.
Does CLATUU hurt?
At first, you’ll feel a cool, tugging sensation, followed by a pulling sensation; then the area goes numb and it’s quite bearable. Afterwards, the area may feel sensitive or numb for a few days.
Is the result really permanent?
Yes. The dead fat cells are broken down and do not return. Important: if you gain weight, the remaining cells may grow again — the best way to maintain the results is to keep your weight stable.
How many sessions will I need?
Approximately per session 20–22 % of fat in the area. Many people see noticeable results after just one session; a second session is possible after four weeks at the earliest.
When will I see results?
The first changes become noticeable after three to four weeks, with the full results visible after two to three months — that’s how long it takes the body to break it down.
How long will the downtime last?
None. You may experience redness, swelling or numbness in the area for a few days — but you’ll be back to your normal routine straight away.

Is CLATUU a weight-loss method?
No. It removes localised fat deposits, but is not a substitute for weight loss and is not suitable for obesity. It is ideal for people whose weight is stable, with a BMI of around 25–30.
How does CLATUU differ from liposuction?
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that requires anaesthesia and involves a recovery period. CLATUU is non-invasive and does not require anaesthesia; you can resume your normal daily activities straight away — though the results are gradual and are best suited for moderate amounts of fat.
Does CLATUU work on a double chin?
Yes, using the special chin applicator — one of the most effective areas.
When is CLATUU not possible?
In cases of certain cold-related conditions (cryoglobulinaemia, cold haemoglobinuria, Raynaud’s phenomenon), during pregnancy, in the presence of active infections or open wounds in the treatment area, and if the skin fold is too thin for the applicator. If in doubt, we will clarify this during the consultation.
