Does it really only take 60 minutes – or does it drag on?
60 minutes is our standard session length. Sometimes it’s a little shorter, depending on the complexity of your questions. We’ll take as much time as you need – but we’ll respect your time too.
Do I have to book a treatment straight away?
No. Never. You can take your PDF plan home with you and decide at your own pace. Some of our clients book on the same day. Others come back weeks later. Both are fine.
What happens if the assessment shows that I don’t need any treatment at all?
Well, that’s exactly what we’ll tell you. You’ll still receive your PDF with care recommendations and an honest assessment. We rely on you coming back – and recommending us to others.
How does AURA differ from a standard skin analysis?
Traditional skin analyses rely on 2D photographs and manual assessment. AURA generates a photorealistic 3D digital twin, which we can rotate, zoom in on and measure from every angle. The AI has been trained using thousands of data sets – this ensures that the results are objective and comparable over time.
Will the AURA analysis damage my skin?
No. AURA 3D is a non-contact system that uses only light and cameras. No radiation, no active ingredients, no contact. You can carry on as normal straight afterwards.
Aren't I a bit too young for that sort of assessment at 28?
On the contrary. Pre-ageing begins in your 20s and 30s. The sooner you know the current condition of your skin, the more effectively you can take preventive measures. AURA also records the current condition – so that in five years’ time, you’ll know what has changed.
Will I be able to get before-and-after comparisons later on?
Yes – and that is one of the main advantages. AURA works with standardised lighting and automatic positioning. If you come back in 3, 6 or 12 months, we’ll be able to see the exact progress – not just a general impression. We can even carry out vector analyses to show where the tissue has shifted following a treatment.
What about body treatments or laser treatments? Can we discuss those as well?
We offer separate, free consultations for body and laser treatments. AURA 3D is technically only available for the face and neck. If you’d like both, just let us know – we’ll sort it out for you.
Can I come with someone else, for example my mum or a friend?
We prefer one-to-one appointments because the consultation is very personal. However, we can arrange two appointments back-to-back – we often do this for mothers and daughters, friends or couples.
Is my data stored securely?
Yes. Your 3D scans are stored in encrypted form and used exclusively to support your treatment – in accordance with Swiss data protection law (revDSG) and the GDPR. They are not used for marketing purposes or for external analysis.
