What Volnewmer® is.
Volnewmer® is an FDA-approved monopolar radiofrequency device manufactured by the Korean company Classys, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin deep within the skin.
Whilst older RF devices such as Thermage Using short energy pulses and gas cooling, Volnewmer® supplies the energy continuously and cools the skin's surface with water at the same time. This makes the treatment much more comfortable — without anaesthetic cream — with a deeper and more consistent effect on the tissue. One session is usually sufficient; the full effect develops over a period of 3 to 6 months.
We introduced Volnewmer® to Switzerland in May 2025 — the first clinic in the country to do so. The device received CE marking in accordance with the MDR that same month. On the global market — in the USA, Brazil and Russia — the device has been in use since 2024.

What Volnewmer® treats on the body.

Loose abdominal skin
After pregnancy, weight loss or due to ageing. Volnewmer® gradually improves skin density over several months — without microneedling and without the need for a course of treatments.
Flabby upper arms
The typical „flabby skin" on the back of the upper arm in the triceps area — one of the areas where Volnewmer® is most effective, delivering visible firming results.

Thin skin, little connective tissue. Volnewmer® reaches depths here that microneedling or superficial RF devices cannot.
Crepey skin on the knees

Volnewmer® works with 6.78 MHz monopolar radio frequency and delivers energy continuously — evenly to the upper and lower dermis. Water cooling protects the skin’s surface, Real-time impedance detection adjusts the energy per pulse to suit the skin density. Four different tip sizes — the largest, at 16 cm², is specially designed for larger areas of the body.

Before we use Volnewmer®, we stimulate the lymphatic system and relieve tension using Icoone® or Endospheres®. Volnewmer® works best only once the tissue has softened and drainage is established. This is how your session will work.
First the lymph, then the plan.
During the free body consultation, we’ll check whether your lymphatic system is already functioning and whether your tissue is soft. If not, we’ll start with Icoone® or Endospheres®. We use Volnewmer® in a targeted manner — once your body has been prepared.
Cleansing, treatment, soothing care.
The skin is cleansed and prepared with a contact gel. Volnewmer® uses continuous water cooling — you’ll feel warmth and a pulsating sensation. No anaesthetic cream is required. The treatment finishes with a soothing mask or ampoule, depending on the area and the sensitivity of your skin.
Immediate results. Builds up over 6 months.
Initial tightening occurs immediately after the session due to collagen contraction. The full effect builds up over 3 to 6 months through neocollagen synthesis. No downtime — you can get straight back to your daily routine. Maintenance once or twice a year.

Does Volnewmer® cause any pain when applied to the body?
Volnewmer® is well tolerated — you’ll feel warmth and a slight pulsing sensation, not a sharp pain. Continuous water cooling protects the skin’s surface whilst the radio frequency works deep down. Unlike older RF devices such as Thermage is no anaesthetic cream required.

How many Volnewmer® sessions do I need for my body?
Usually, that's enough one session per zone. Volnewmer® is not intended for a course of treatments — results develop over 3 to 6 months following a single treatment. In cases of severely sagging skin, a second session after 6 months may be advisable.
We recommend maintenance once or twice a year, combined with regular lymphatic stimulation using Icoone® or Endospheres®.

How long will the downtime last?
No downtime. You may experience slight redness in the treated area for a few hours. You can resume your normal daily activities straight after the session — but please avoid exercise, saunas and intense heat for 24 hours.

When will I see the first results?
Immediate effect immediately after the session, thanks to collagen contraction — the skin feels firmer. The full effect develops over 3 to 6 months through neocollagen synthesis. Clinical studies show measurable improvements in skin quality after just 4 weeks.

How long do the results last?
The collagen and elastin fibres regenerated by Volnewmer® remain intact — the skin’s quality is maintained for years. What you cannot stop is the natural ageing process, which continues in parallel.
We recommend 1 to 2 maintenance sessions per year, combined with regular lymphatic stimulation. This ensures that the structure remains stable for years to come.

How much does Volnewmer® cost when applied to the body?
Volnewmer® is priced per treatment — the energy required depends directly on the size of the treatment area and skin density. The following guidelines apply to alestetics®:
- Small area (knees, décolletage, hands) — approx. 400 shots CHF 1,200 – 1,650
- Middle zone (upper arms, inner thighs) — approx. 600–800 shots CHF 1,900 – 2,600
- Large area (Stomach, buttocks, back of the thighs) — approx. 1,000–1,200 shots CHF 2,900 – 3,800

When is Volnewmer® not an option?
Volnewmer® is not possible during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, if you have a pacemaker, active skin infections or herpes in the area, are currently undergoing isotretinoin treatment (wait 6 months after completing treatment), or if you have burnt or broken skin.
A sun-kissed complexion is fine, as long as you haven’t got a sunburn. If you’re unsure, we’ll discuss this with you individually during your free consultation.

What is the difference between Volnewmer® and Thermage?
Both devices use monopolar radio frequency, but the technology behind them is different.
Thermage delivers RF energy in short pulses and cools the skin with gas between pulses — most patients need Anaesthetic cream, because there are brief, painful moments between the energy and the cooling.
Volnewmer® works with continuous energy output and continuous water cooling — The skin’s surface remains cool throughout, whilst the RF energy acts evenly at a deeper level. No anaesthetic cream is required, and heat is distributed more evenly throughout the tissue.
