In short: The difference is the hyaluronic acid. PolyPhil™ contains pure polynucleotides (20 mg/ml) and stands for regeneration and skin quality. PolyPhil™ Next combines polynucleotides with hyaluronic acid (10 mg/ml each) – for mature or dehydrated skin that needs extra moisture. There is also PolyPhil™ Eye, specifically for the delicate eye area. Which variant is suitable depends on whether your skin primarily needs regeneration or regeneration plus moisture.
When you choose PolyPhil™ If you're interested, you'll quickly come across three names – and the question of which one is the right one. We'll explain the difference so that it sticks.
All three are based on the same active ingredient
First, the commonality: all PolyPhil™ variants are polynucleotide skin boosters from the Austrian brand Croma-Pharma, manufactured by Mastelli in Italy. The core is always the same – highly pure polynucleotides that stimulate the skin's own repair cells. None of these variants are fillers; none create artificial volume.
The difference lies in what is additionally included and for which zone the formula is intended.
PolyPhil™ — the pure build-up formula
PolyPhil™ contains 20 mg/ml pure polynucleotides, without hyaluronic acid. This is the variant for skin quality and structure: it stimulates collagen and elastin, improves skin density and texture, and is well suited for thin, sun-damaged skin, as well as for support during Acne scars.
It's useful if your skin primarily needs renewal, and the moisture level is generally okay.
PolyPhil™ Next — Regeneration and Moisture
PolyPhil™ Next combines 10 mg/ml polynucleotides with 10 mg/ml hyaluronic acid. The idea: biostimulation and immediate hydration in one step. The polynucleotides stimulate the cells, while the hyaluronic acid provides direct hydration.
This variant is made for mature or dehydrated skin, which needs both simultaneously – building up from within and a moisture boost. Those who feel their skin appears dull and tired in texture often find this to be the right choice.
PolyPhil™ Eye — for the eye area
The skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate than on the rest of the face. PolyPhil™ Eye is specially formulated for this zone and works with adapted concentrations. The aim is firmness and hydration for tired, thin eye areas. More on this in the article Hyaluronic acid injections under the eyes.

How we choose the variety
In the alestetics® At our clinic in Zurich, we don't determine the variant by trend, but by your skin's condition. We administer all three with the Vital Injector 2™ – without welt or micro-papules. Often, only a close look at moisture, density, and zone will determine which formula is suitable.
