Sagging skin, stretch marks, contours. Vivace® also works below the neckline.
RF microneedling for the stomach, arms, thighs, buttocks and knees — precisely tailored for the thicker skin on the body. FDA-approved, developed in Korea.
This treatment is for you if …
Vivace® Body is designed to target specific areas where exercise and creams reach their limits.
You’ve got loose skin on your stomach, upper arms or thighs after losing weight — and you’re not considering surgery.
Your stretch marks have been there for years and creams haven't made any difference.
Your knees or upper arms look ‚crepey' — that fine, wrinkled skin that just appears.
You want to tone your abdominal muscles after pregnancy (you have finished breastfeeding).
If you have darker skin and traditional lasers aren’t an option — Vivace® works regardless of skin pigmentation.
What Vivace® RF microneedling is.
Vivace® RF Microneedling is an FDA-approved treatment developed by the Korean company ShenB, which combines microneedles with radiofrequency energy to specifically stimulate collagen and elastin in the deeper layers of the skin. It is not a laser.
As gold-coated needles penetrate the skin to precisely adjustable depths, radiofrequency energy flows through the needle tips. This thermal stimulation triggers a regenerative response that builds new connective tissue over several months. On the body, where the skin is significantly thicker than on the face, this dual action enables deeper structural changes — with significantly less downtime than ablative lasers.
We have been using Vivace® since 2023 — for both the face and the body. The body treatment requires different needle depths and energy levels to the facial treatment, which is why we offer it as a separate treatment.

What Vivace® Body treats.
Six areas of application in which we use Vivace® on the body — listed in order of frequency in our practice.
Sagging skin after weight loss
The stomach, upper arms and inner thighs — the typical areas affected after significant weight loss or GLP-1 therapy. Where the skin does not snap back into place, Vivace® builds up new collagen structure.
Stretch marks
Fresh reddish or purple streaks respond more quickly. Silvery, older streaks require more sessions — both can be treated.
Loose skin on the stomach after pregnancy
Can still be treated even years after the birth. Prerequisite: breastfeeding has finished.
Crepey skin
That fine, creased skin on the knees, upper arms and décolletage — typical from the age of 40 onwards, and difficult to conceal with make-up.
Saggy inner thighs
One of the most challenging areas — thin skin and little connective tissue. Here, we work with reduced energy levels and build up the results gradually over several sessions.
Po — Firmness and texture
Vivace® targets skin quality, not fat deposits. If you’d like to add volume, we combine it with CLATUU Alpha® or BTL Exilis® Body.
Three ways in which Vivace® does things differently here.
It is not the device alone that matters — but how it is used, in what context, and by whom.
36 gold-plated needles, both insulated and uninsulated.
Vivace® combines microneedles with radiofrequency in a single system. The needle depth can be precisely adjusted — deep enough for the thicker skin on the body. Insulated needles release the RF energy only at the tip, thereby protecting the epidermis. Non-insulated needles We work over a wider area — we choose the appropriate method depending on the area and the condition.
Tailored energy treatment per zone, combined with lymphatic drainage.
We treat the inner thighs differently from the abdomen, and the knees differently from the buttocks. The energy levels and needle depths are adjusted for each area — not applied across the board. Before Vivace® is often used in conjunction with BioRePeel® Body for deeper penetration, according to 2 weeks of Icoone® or Endospheres® to promote lymphatic drainage and regeneration.
Since 2023 with Vivace® — a V-NISSG-certified team.
We have been using Vivace® since 2023 — for both the face and the body. Our team is V-NISSG-certified and has been trained directly by the manufacturer. 590+ reviews with a 5.0-star rating. alestetics® specialises in pre-ageing — we use devices that deliver real results rather than chasing the latest trend.
Rarely on its own. That’s how we incorporate Vivace® into the design.
The results on the body stem from this interaction. What happens before and after Vivace® helps determine how deeply the treatment works and how quickly the tissue regenerates.

-
BioRePeel® Body
The exfoliation is carried out before the Vivace® treatment — active ingredients penetrate deeper, and RF works more effectively on prepared skin.
Possible before that
-
Icoone® Laser Med
Lymphatic drainage the day before or on the day itself prepares the tissue — improving blood circulation and speeding up recovery.
-
Endospheres® Therapy
A gentler alternative to Icoone® — particularly for sensitive skin or those with vein problems.
-
CLATUU Alpha® (at least 2 weeks in advance)
When localised fat deposits are an issue alongside sagging skin — CLATUU first reduces the volume, and Vivace® then tightens the skin.
After that (two weeks later)
-
Icoone® / Endospheres®
Lymphatic stimulation and microcirculation support collagen production in the weeks following Vivace®.
-
Stellar M22™ ResurFX™
For old, silvery stretch marks, we combine RF microneedling with fractional laser resurfacing — two different depths, one goal.
Loose abdominal skin following weight loss — a typical recovery process over 3 months.
BioRePeel® Body + Vivace® Body in a single session
Icoone® for lymphatic stimulation and tissue regeneration
Second Vivace® Body session — tissue regeneration
Icoone® or Endospheres® as a maintenance treatment, a third Vivace® session if required
The personalised plan is drawn up during the free body consultation — the area, skin type and your goals determine the number and order of the sessions.
This is how your session will work.
Consultation and planning.
Before we start treatment, we take a close look. During the free body consultation, we discuss the areas to be treated, your goals and the sequence of sessions. You won’t leave with a standard package, but with a clear plan.
Preparation, treatment, reassurance.
The skin is cleansed and prepared, then we use Vivace® to target specific areas. You’ll feel a tingling sensation and warmth. To finish, we apply a soothing mask or an ampoule — depending on the area and your skin’s sensitivity.
Results and maintenance.
Mild redness for 1 to 2 days. The first visible changes in skin texture appear after 4 to 6 weeks, with full collagen regeneration taking 3 to 6 months. We recommend 3 to 5 sessions at 4-week intervals — with Icoone® or Endospheres® in between to promote tissue regeneration.
What you need to know before your treatment.
Eight questions we’re most frequently asked before the first Vivace® session — answered honestly.
-
Does RF microneedling hurt when done on the body?
Vivace® RF microneedling on the body is well tolerated — you’ll feel a tingling sensation and warmth, but no sharp pain. The skin on the body is thicker than on the face, which is why treatment on the stomach, thighs or buttocks is usually perceived as less intense than on the face.
At alestetics®, we adjust the energy level and needle depth individually for each area. On more sensitive areas, such as the inner thighs or knees, we use a lower energy setting.
-
How many microneedling sessions do I need for my body?
For RF microneedling on the body, we at alestetics® recommend 3 to 5 sessions at 4-week intervals. Fresh reddish stretch marks and crepey skin respond more quickly — 3 sessions are often enough. Older silvery stretch marks and severe skin laxity require 5 sessions, sometimes more.
We’ll work out the exact plan during the free body consultation — depending on the area, skin type and your goals.
-
How long will the downtime last?
After Vivace® RF microneedling on the body, you can expect Mild redness for 1 to 2 days. We’ll take a break from sport, the sauna, the solarium and hot baths for 48 hours. You can go back to work the next day; the treated area will feel as though you’ve been sunburnt.
-
When will I see the first results?
The first visible changes in skin texture begin to appear after 4 to 6 weeks. The full collagen and elastin response develops over 3 to 6 months — Collagen synthesis takes time. That is precisely why we work with programmes rather than one-off sessions.
-
How long do the results last?
The collagen and elastin produced by RF microneedling remain in the skin — so the improved skin quality lasts for years. What you cannot stop is the natural ageing process, which continues in parallel.
We recommend 1 to 2 refresher sessions per year as a maintenance treatment, combined with regular lymphatic stimulation using Icoone® or Endospheres®.
-
How much does Vivace® RF microneedling cost for the body?
Vivace® Body is now available at alestetics® CHF 500 per zone per session. Smaller areas such as the upper arms or knees are at the lower end of the scale, whilst larger areas such as the thighs or combined areas are correspondingly higher.
You can find the full price list, including all zones, here. We will discuss your personalised plan and price during the free body consultation.
-
When is RF microneedling not suitable for the body?
Vivace® RF microneedling is not possible in cases of: active pregnancy or breastfeeding, pacemakers, active skin infections or herpes in the treatment area, a tendency to develop keloids, current isotretinoin treatment (a 6-month interval after completion), and in cases of burnt or broken skin.
For darker skin types (Fitzpatrick V–VI), we assess each case individually — Vivace® works regardless of skin pigmentation, but the dosage must be carefully adjusted for very dark skin. Tanned skin is fine, provided there are no sunburns.

What is the difference between Vivace® and Morpheus8?
Both are RF microneedling devices, but they work differently. Morpheus8 uses thicker, insulated needles and higher thermal intensity — resulting in a correspondingly longer recovery period. Vivace® uses thinner needles that allow for more precise dosing, and a combination of insulated and non-insulated needles depending on the indication.
At alestetics®, we tested Morpheus8 and deliberately decided against it — the treatment was too aggressive for our approach. In our experience, Vivace® delivers comparable results whilst offering a significantly more comfortable treatment and recovery process.
What customers experience after using Vivace®.
I had RF microneedling and EXILIS treatments on my stomach at Alestetics and am extremely pleased with the results. In fact, the results are much more noticeable than I had expected.
I’ve had three RF microneedling sessions at alestetics and I’m delighted with the results. My skin has visibly improved and looks much fresher and more even. The team are very professional, knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
Very friendly and professional staff, who take the time to carry out a skin analysis and offer valuable advice. They gave me a clear understanding of my skin and boosted my confidence. I highly recommend them.
