Endospheres® Therapy

Endospheres Therapy a patented, non-invasive method that applies mechanical, rhythmic compression and micro-vibration to the skin's surface. The aim is to improve microcirculation, increase lymphatic drainage, and stimulate the connective tissue, with positive effects on cellulite, tissue tightening, and sagging. The treatment is generally painless, requires no downtime, and can be used on both the face and body.

The power of Endospheres® therapy in Zurich

Origin & Development

The Endospheres method was developed as a form of therapy for the non-invasive mobilization of skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscles. It was clinically established in collaboration with research teams from the fields of physiotherapy, phlebology, and aesthetic surgery; the method has been scientifically described and documented in clinical case series. It is based on a rotating, cylindrical applicator with a precise arrangement of soft spheres that generates modulated pressure and vibration patterns.

How does Endospheres work?

Endospheres generates a series of short-cycle pressure and vibration pulses ("compressive microvibration"). Technically, this is achieved by 55 soft silicone spheres in a rotating chamber: the spheres roll and vibrate at programmed frequencies and pressure levels, creating an orderly, pulsating mechanical stimulation at different tissue depths. This mechanical pulse sequence triggers several parallel reactions:

Mechanical reorganization of interstitial connective tissue and fibrotic septa (in cellulite).
Vasodilation and improved microcirculation, which facilitates the removal of metabolites.
Stimulation of lymphatic flow components and decongestion of interstitial edema.
Mechanotransduction in fibroblasts and other cells, which can stimulate collagen and elastin production.
Together, these effects lead to visibly smoother skin, improved tone, and reduced swelling.

Lymph: why drainage is so important

The lymphatic system regulates the volume of the interstitial space, transports proteins, lipids, and immune cells, and is central to tissue homeostasis. When lymphatic drainage or microcirculation is disrupted, protein-rich fluid accumulates, leading to chronic swelling, local inflammation, and long-term tissue fibrosis—typical mechanisms that worsen cellulite and tissue slackening. Mechanical stimuli such as targeted compression and rhythmic vibration increase the local lymph flow rate, reduce interstitial fluid accumulation, and improve blood circulation — thus creating the conditions for tissue regeneration and visible contour improvement. This physiological relationship is well documented in the lymphological literature.

Clinical evidence & indications

Published case series and prospective observational studies show consistent improvements in skin roughness, skin gloss, vascular perfusion, and visible reduction of gynoid lipodystrophy (cellulite) after a series of Endosphere sessions. Ultrasound examinations document structural changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissue after repeated application. Typical indications are: cellulite and localised fat deposits, tissue tightening (arms, thighs, buttocks), post-operative oedema management, muscular tension and even certain forms of chronic pain. Many studies report visible results after just a few sessions, with series (e.g., 8–12 sessions) often delivering the best, most lasting results.

Practical tips & possible combinations

Endospheres works excellently as a standalone therapy, but is also very well suited to combined therapy concepts: before or after energy-emitting procedures (e.g., Exilis radio frequency, cryolipolysis), Endospheres can improve microcirculation and prepare the tissue for subsequent steps; after surgical procedures, the therapy supports lymph and edema regulation. A sensible combination often increases the sustainability of the results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions about EndospheresTherapy

Endospheres therapy is a non-invasive compression microvibration treatment that uses rotating spheres to generate mechanical impulses in the skin and subcutaneous tissue. This pulsating compression increases microcirculation, activates lymph flow, and mechanically mobilizes connective tissue. The results are improved blood circulation, reduced tissue swelling, and visible smoothing of cellulite and bulky areas.

Endospheres is particularly suitable for cellulite treatment, tissue tightening (arms, thighs, buttocks), improving skin structure, reducing edema, and supporting postoperative lymphatic drainage. Endospheres treatment also brings visible improvements for tired, swollen legs or uneven tissue texture.
