What Exilis is.
BTL Exilis is a device from BTL Aesthetics that uses monopolar radio frequency and non-focused ultrasound simultaneously — with built-in cooling, completely without HIFU and without needles.
The radio frequency (3.4 MHz) heats the deeper layers of the skin in a controlled manner, whilst the ultrasound delivers additional energy to the tissue. This heat stimulates the fibroblasts to produce new collagen — over the weeks, the skin becomes firmer and the contours more defined. The built-in cooling system keeps the skin surface comfortable, whilst real-time monitoring regulates the energy output. The treatment targets the the whole face, including the chin; the neck and décolletage are included as an add-on.
Every Exilis session at our clinic ends with Dermalux™ LED, a face mask and SPF 50 — all included in the price. In the Standard Commitment Plan, we combine Exilis with SkinPen® and NCTF® to create the Skin Renewal Plan.

A pleasant, deep warmth.
The handpiece glides gently over your skin, and you feel a pleasant, deep warmth — no pricks, no pain. The built-in cooling system keeps the skin feeling comfortable. Followed by Dermalux™, a face mask and SPF 50.
No downtime; implementation takes several weeks.
No downtime, just a slight warmth or redness at most, which subsides quickly. You’ll be ready to go out straight away. SPF 50 is essential; collagen builds up over the following weeks, and the results become visible over the course of the treatment.

Does Exilis hurt?
No. You feel a deep, pleasant warmth; many people describe it as feeling like a warm massage. The built-in cooling system protects the skin’s surface.
How many sessions will I need?
We recommend at least 5 sessions every 1–2 weeks. Collagen builds up gradually; the results become visible over the course of the treatment and last for months.
When will I see the results?
The initial effects are often noticeable straight away, but the full results become apparent over the course of several weeks as new collagen forms.
How long does a session last?
The Exilis treatment takes around 30 minutes; this is followed by a Dermalux™ treatment, a face mask and SPF 50.
What is included in the price?
For the whole face, Dermalux™ LED, a face mask and SPF 50 Always included. The neck and décolletage are added as an extra.
Is Exilis a HIFU treatment?
No. Exilis uses radio frequency and non-focused ultrasound combined with cooling — a gentle, diffused warmth, not a focused HIFU pulse.
How much does Exilis Face cost?

What is the difference between Exilis and Volnewmer®?
Both use monopolar radio frequency to tighten the skin. Volnewmer® delivers more intense energy in a single session and also helps to build volume; Exilis works more gently over a course of several sessions. Which is more suitable depends on your skin condition and your goals — we’ll determine this during the skin analysis.
Can I combine Exilis with a peel or IPL?
Yes, in the same session — radiofrequency comes first, followed by the peel or IPL. Each session ends with Dermalux™, a mask and SPF 50.
Does Exilis help with a double chin?
Yes, that is one of the main indications. In cases of pronounced fat deposits on the chin, we can combine this with CLATUU Alpha® (with at least a two-week interval).
When is Exilis not an option?
If you have a pacemaker or metal implants, or if you are undergoing facial treatment whilst wearing fixed metal braces. Wait at least 12 months after taking isotretinoin, and at least 3 months after ablative laser treatment or a deep chemical peel. We do not use radiofrequency treatment during pregnancy.
